By these definitions it seems that talent is something innate, something
we arrived on the planet with; a gift of the Divine. (a gift, by
the way, that the Divine presumably expects us to use). Skill on
the other hand, is something we learn and develop after we have settled
in, and are trying to figure out what we’re supposed to be
doing here.
Here’s the point I’ve been moving toward:

it’s
